__ Darlene, "The First Lady" is masterfully written, complete with vivid imagery and intricate descriptions. The story line is intriguing, making it nearly impossible to put the book down! The depiction of the repercussions and spiritual ramifications of adultery, betrayal, and deception, are eloquent yet thought-provoking.
Thank you for sharing your "gift of expression" to be a blessing to your readers, and to provoke us all to seek a greater understanding and display of God's mercy, and His grace.

The story was truly riveting. I enjoyed every page of it. Although I'm not a man of faith, the spiritual subjectivity fit accordingly to the messages the story conveyed. I think after reading this story people should become more in-tuned with their own spirituality because the tell points to the many demons families of all walks of life face in today's society. You are a brilliant writer. The use of imagery and sensual cues really captured my imagination and entranced me within the story. I received the book the afternoon of its debut and finished reading it the following morning. To conclude, I really enjoyed the book. Thank you for blessing us with your gift of the written word.

I loved the book. I hope there will be additional stories regarding Pastor and First Lady as well as some of the other characters. The story line was well developed and the message is an important one for all. It made me think about how I am responding to the voice of God. Thanks, Darlene!
